Features Calling Line Identity Presentation (CLIP) This
service allows the called customer to receive the callers line
identity (telephone number) Before answering the call. The called
party will only receive this information if the calling party
hasagreed to send their number (CLI).
Calling Line
Identity Restriction (CLIR) Customers can
request that their identities (telephone numbers) are not released at
any time.
Connected Line Identity Presentation (COLP) Allows
you to confirm that the number you have dialled is the number you are
connected to and that you have not been forwarded to another location.
Activation/deactivation of this facility is not available on a per
call basis.
Connected Line Identity Restriction (COLR) You can
ask for your telephone numbers not to be released to callers. Please
note that activation/deactivation of this facility is not available on
a per call basis.
Call Forwarding of Voice and Data Calls
(Admin set up only) unconditional on all calls All calls incoming to
the diverting group of lines are immediately diverted to the directory
number that was nominated to receive the diverted calls
Call
Forwarding of Voice and Data Calls (Admin set up only) On Busy lines
Diversion/Forwarding on Busy is provided so that customers have the
opportunity to ensure that any overflow traffic at one location can be
answered elsewhere. ISDN2e will forward calls when either all channels
are busy or when a specific DDI extension is signalled to be busy by
the iSPBX.
Call Forwarding of Voice and Data Calls (Admin set
up only) On No Reply Provision of Diversion/Forwarding on Ring Tone or
No Reply means that calls will be diverted to a pre-arranged telephone
number if the call isnt answered within approximately 20 seconds.
Customer controlled call forwarding of Voice and Data Calls
Unconditional On All Calls This is the Call Forwarding option that
allows you to control the Call Forwarding service from your PBX /
equipment. You can choose to forward all calls, on busy, or on no
reply. The forwarded part of the call will be charged to whoever
invokes the Call Forwarding facility. You are advised to check that
your equipment supports the relevant Call Forwarding service offered.
Call Forwarding on ISDN2e allows both voice and data calls to be
forwarded Customer controlled call forwarding of Voice and Data Calls
- On Busy lines This is the Call Forwarding option that allows you to
control the Call Forwarding service from your PBX / equipment. You can
choose to forward all calls, on busy, or on no reply. The forwarded
part of the call will be charged to whoever invokes the Call
Forwarding facility. You are advised to check that your equipment
supports the relevant Call Forwarding service offered. Call Forwarding
on ISDN2e allows both voice and data calls to be forwarded. Customer
controlled call forwarding of Voice and Data Calls On No Reply lines
This is the Call Forwarding option that allows you to control the Call
Forwarding service from your PBX / equipment. You can choose to
forward all calls, on busy, or on no reply. The forwarded part of the
call will be charged to whoever invokes the Call Forwarding facility.
You are advised to check that your equipment supports the relevant
Call Forwarding service offered. Call Forwarding on ISDN2e allows both
voice and data calls to be forwarded.
Call Deflection (CD)
Allows you to respond to an incoming voice or data call by deflecting
the call to another number without answering it. The forwarded to
number must be able to accept the calls, for voice calls any normal
number that accepts incoming calls (such as a mobile phone or analogue
exchange line) can take the call. The ability to use this service is
dependent upon your equipment. You can control the criteria that
determines which calls are forwarded, for example on the basis of who
the call is from, who it is made to and the call type etc. 20 Octet
Sub Addressing Sub Addressing (also known as Network Address
Extension) For ISDN2e this would apply to equipment that supplies ISDN
2e ports to the user. This allows the caller to select a destination,
device or end-point beyond that indicated by the called national
number (for example a process in a host computer or a device connected
to a LAN, or individual devices connected to an ISDN 2 port). Assuming
your equipment supports this facility, the caller may send his calling
sub address but the called party must have CLIP to receive this
facility.
Caller Redirect Caller Redirect is a service
provided at the End User's local exchange that informs incoming
callers of the called party's new telephone number. When an End User
ceases service and takes up services elsewhere, or has a line
renumbered, Caller Redirect will refer callers to the new number (the
caller is not charged for the call). DDI Allows you to use ISDN 2e for
all your office communications. For example, you could group your ISDN
2e lines together and use hunt groups and line hunting when theyre
connected to a phone system. If you had three ISDN 2e lines (i.e. 6
channels), you could have 10 numbers associated with each one, which
adds up to a possible total of 30 different extension numbers. One of
those numbers could then become a central number for customers to
call. The other 29 could serve as personal extension numbers, so that
regular customers could contact individuals directly, without having
to go through your switchboard. Presentation Number Presentation
Number is a service that allows users to specify a telephone number
for the Calling Line Identity (CLI) on outgoing calls, which may be
different to the main telephone number .
Anonymous Call Reject
This can be used where the caller(s) are withholding their CLI. It
will prevent most calls with CLI Withheld being made to the number
selected. Users should be cautioned, however, that it is likely to
stop other people they would be happy to speak to from phoning them
(e.g. doctors, hospitals and numerous other large organisations). ACR
will not reject International Calls.
Multiple Subscriber Numbering Allows you to have up to 10 directory
numbers allocated to the digital service on ISDN 2e, so you could
advertise different telephone numbers for fax, video, telephone and
data devices.
This option is highly recommended if youre connecting
more than two digital devices to ISDN 2e. Important: Your terminal
equipment must be able to support the Multiple Subscriber Numbering
service, as individual directory numbers will need to be programmed
into the equipment.
The total number of telephone numbers
available on ISDN2e is 10 . Call Waiting and Call Hold These services
are provided together and are similar in functionality to Call Waiting
and Call Hold on normal analogue phone lines. The functionality for
these services is controlled by your equipment, be that an ISDN phone,
Terminal Adapter, Router or ISDN Card, so you must make sure any
equipment you have connected to the digital sockets supports these
features.

Suitable for connections
between sites, fast file transfer, video streaming, video conferencing as
well as hosting email or web servers.Bluemast SDL is a premium 'symmetric
digital subscriber line' (a broadband service) for businesses with high
data or bandwidth requirements. With SDSL you can download and upload at
the same speed that makes SDSL upload speeds up to 4 times faster than
other broadband connections.
Designed with the needs
of business in mind, SDSL technology gives you a dedicated high-speed
Internet connection that is fast, efficient and economical.
Bluemast SDL is ideal, if you want to:
Connect your business sites together,
cost-effectively at high speed.
Give your teleworkers a fast and efficient
connection to your servers.Bluemast SDL also has a 10:1 contention ratio
What is the difference between SDSL and ADSL? A Symmetric Digital
Subscriber Line (SDSL) provides a connection to the Internet with
identical download and upload speeds, allowing you to send information as
quickly as you receive it. Data is sent and received over an existing
telephone line.
However, you cannot make telephones calls using
the same line.An Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) provides a
connection to the Internet where the upload speed is generally faster than
the download speed. Unlike SDSL, ADSL allows you to access the Internet
and make a telephone call simultaneously using the same line
